Meet the Team

Esther Jackson-Stowell
Agent & President

Ekot Properties Inc. and Ekot Real Estate, LLC were both conceived by the visionary Esther S. Jackson-Stowell. In 2010, she founded Ekot Properties Inc., and later in 2015, Ekot Real Estate, LLC emerged as the Sales division, focused on assisting clients in building generational wealth. Esther's journey, which began with a background in the real estate sector, took a transformative turn to better serve property owners and potential tenants.

Esther's extensive experience spans several years, primarily in property management, with a significant portion spent working for a property management coalition in the vibrant San Francisco Bay Area.

Academically, she honed her expertise by earning a Master's degree in Public Administration with a specialization in Public Management from California State University, East Bay. In addition to her academic achievements, Esther holds a Real Estate Management license and is a proud recipient of the Certified Occupancy Specialist certification, awarded by the esteemed National Center for Housing Management (NCHM). For three years, she contributed her expertise to the Salt Lake City Historic Landmark Commission. In 2022, she held the pivotal role as chair of the Salt Lake City Human Rights Commission. The same year, she also held the position of chair for the Poplar Grove Community Council.

Beyond her impressive professional portfolio, Esther embraces her role as a dedicated mother to two wonderful boys, as well as their charming daughter, and she is a source of inspiration for the foster children welcomed into her home. Her husband proudly acknowledges her as the "best wife ever."

Silvia Padilla
Chief Program Officer

Silvia Padilla brings a unique blend of expertise to her role as Chief Program Officer. She graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in metallurgical engineering, laying a foundation of structured thinking and problem-solving.

 

Before joining Ekot Real Estate, Silvia honed her analytical skills as a research and database analyst. She then shifted gears stepping into the world of finance where she tackled the intricacies of operations. This multifaceted background perfectly equips her to lead our program initiatives.

 

As our Chief Program Officer, she approaches challenges with a blend of technical acumen, data-driven insights, and operational efficiency. Outside of work, you can find her exploring the outdoors, snowboarding, or reading. 

John Perdiguez
Lead Administrator

John Mathew Perdiguez is a dedicated professional with over 5 years of experience in lead generation, customer service, and real estate. With a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results and providing outstanding client experiences, John brings a unique skill set to his role as lead administrator at Ekot Real Estate.

 

John received his BS in Aircraft Maintenance Technology from PATTS College of Aeronautics. He leverages meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving finesse, and a methodical approach honed in the aviation industry to ensure every aspect of your real estate experience is smooth and successful.
